Prelude Choir Director
Meredith is proud to be a founding member of GLCCA and director of the Prelude Choir. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy from Sam Houston State University. She teaches students of all ages piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele. Meredith is married to Jacob, a local band director. She spends much of her time homeschooling her five beautiful children.
LYNETTE VINCENT
Concert Choir Director
Dr. Lynette Vincent is an Associate Professor of Music Education and Coordinator of Music Education at East Texas Baptist University. She has experience teaching preschool and elementary music, children’s choirs, secondary choirs, private piano and voice, as well as undergraduate and graduate music education courses. She has taught in Texas public and private schools, in the National Music Conservatory in Amman, Jordan, and at the university level.
Additionally, Lynette is a Kodály endorsed teacher who oversees and serves on the faculty of the Kodály training program at ETBU.
