MEREDITH RAMOS

Prelude Choir Director and Teen Chorale Co-Director
Meredith is proud to be a founding member of GLCCA and director of the Prelude Choir. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy from Sam Houston State University. She teaches students of all ages piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele. Meredith is married to Jacob, a local band director. She spends much of her time homeschooling her five beautiful children.
LYNETTE VINCENT
Concert Choir Director
Dr. Lynette Vincent is an Associate Professor of Music Education and Coordinator of Music Education at East Texas Baptist University. She has experience teaching preschool and elementary music, children’s choirs, secondary choirs, private piano and voice, as well as undergraduate and graduate music education courses. She has taught in Texas public and private schools, in the National Music Conservatory in Amman, Jordan, and at the university level.
Additionally, Lynette is a Kodály endorsed teacher who oversees and serves on the faculty of the Kodály training program at ETBU.
MATTHEW MCKINNON
Teen Choir Choir Co-Director
Matthew McKinnon serves as Assistant Professor of Voice and Musical Theatre in the Music Department of the School of Communication and Performing Arts at East Texas Baptist University. He recently received his Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance degree from the University of Oklahoma. He also holds a Master of Music in Opera Performance from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Throughout his career, he has taught applied voice, with an emphasis on classical and musical theatre repertoire. His research interests include English art song, particularly the works of Arthur Somervell and its pedagogical value in training developing baritone voices. He has performed extensively in opera, oratorio, and recital settings and is known for his interpretive depth and stylistic versatility.
DAVID LUNA
Accompanist and Composer
David Luna has played for the Greater Longview Children's Choir since its beginning! He composes and arranges many pieces for us including orchestral arrangements for our performances with the Longview Symphony. Davis holds a Master of Music in Music Theory and Composition and a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition, both from Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, TX. He is the Director of Music Ministries at Longview Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Longview, TX. He has accompanied for
East Texas Baptist University and serves as adjunct faculty for both Kilgore College and LeTourneau University.
GA-YOUNG PARK
Accompanist
Ga-Young Park is an Assistant Professor of Music who joined the faculty of East Texas Baptist University in Fall 2025 as a Collaborative Pianist. She has served in a variety of roles, including opera coach, harpsichordist, and rehearsal pianist for numerous opera productions and art song recitals.
Originally from South Korea, Park is pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano at the New England Conservatory of Music, where she also earned both a Master of Music and Graduate Diploma in Collaborative Piano. While at NEC, she worked extensively with opera and art song singers, coached repertoire across multiple languages, and performed in both staged productions and concert settings. She also holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Indiana University.
Park’s professional experience includes several distinguished summer festivals. She served as a vocal piano fellow at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, collaborating with internationally renowned artists. She has also worked at Music on Site in Wichita and Opera in the Ozarks in Arkansas, contributing as a rehearsal pianist and coach across a wide range of repertoire.
